Texas Senate Bill 451 just passed the upper house in a 21-9 vote. The bill would roll back local regulations of short-term home rentals recently enacted in cities such as Austin, San Antonio, and Fort Worth. The companion bill, House Bill 255, is currently working its way through the lower house. See more from the Texas Tribune here.
