New DFW Real Estate Agent

Hello BP - first time poster here.

I've just completed my state education requirements thru Kaplan and am waiting for the go-ahead from TREC to take my exam.

Some information about me - I am currently working full time in another industry. However, this is my first action item to achieve a transition into a full-time Realtor position as soon as possible.

I want to be clear that I understand the general outlook and pitfalls of being a part-time real estate agent; this is not my ultimate goal.

Thanks in advance to everyone!
