South Carolina Real Estate License
I am currently in the process of a career change and have a few questions regarding obtaining my real estate license. I am a resident of North Carolina but live on the border of North and South Carolina. I work offshore on an oil rig and work 3 week rotational work which means I am on the rig for 3 weeks and then off the rig for three weeks. I have visited every North Carolina real estate school in Charlotte and have been told that in order to meet the requirements I need to attend an in-class course which I cannot do because of my schedule. However, my understanding is that I can complete the course requirement online for South Carolina. My questions are as follows:
Do the online schools that offer the South Carolina real estate course meet the requirements necessary to sit for the exam? And if so, what is the best one?
Can I obtain the South Carolina real estate license as a non-resident and if so, can I then receive reciprocity from North Carolina and receive my license in that state as well?
Thanks in advance.

@Joshua Lafferty The online SC courses are sufficient for getting your license. You will have to sit for the exam, though. There's an online exit exam for the classes, but the state tests are done in person. They have quite a few days open throughout the week, so you would just have to travel. I'd think you could do that in Rock Hill easily.
You can receive reciprocity, but you'll still have to pass the NC tests. I'm not 100% sure of the process, but I think you may need to be licensed in SC for a certain amount of time before you can attempt the NC state exam bypassing the classes. If you want them in both states quickly, you'll just need to take the courses and tests in each state. You'll also need to find an office in each state to hang your license. Our company prefers investor-agents, but we're in Charleston.
