Home Equity to Invest in Real Estate
Hi Everyone,
My name is Joe Territo, I am a new RE investor located in Charlotte, NC. looking to start Flipping houses. I have been in construction for many moons. I have wanted to invest in real estate for a long time but never took the leap. I got introduced to BP through a friend. Every time we would get together she would talk about BP, and how great the website was, from the podcasts to the blogs, and everything in between. I have been consistently educating myself, with the help of BP, for about four (4) months now. My wife and I have come up with the idea of using our home equity to purchase our first investment (flip). I am curious to learn if anyone has been in a similar situation and to know what their outcome was. Is this a good idea, or is it too much of a gamble?
Any stories and/or advise would be most appreciated!!!
