I'm looking at a multifamily in Winnsboro,  SC.  Does any one have any opinions of the area beyond the closure of the power plant?  I live in Greenwood and usually invest in Richland County. So, it's slightly out of my usual zone, and it's been quite a few years since I've been through Winnsboro.  I plan to view it tomorrow.

I'm not familiar enough with the Winnsboro market but with the power plant out and now Walmart shutting down I can't imagine it's really booming! You may be able to get a good deal but unless another manufacturing plant makes its way there, most of the appreciation is going to be closer to Chapin/downtown Cola.
