Hello Everyone,

Im looking to start investing in the near future in the Columbus, Ohio area, but I first  need to assemble a team including : an attorney, an insurance agent, a contractor, an account, a business developer, etc. The problem is, as you might expect, is I don't have the networks in place to get this process started,  so I was looking for not only some referrals but some advice and pointers as well. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

@Devany Jenkins

I never built a team.

I bought a rental, then another, then another.

When I needed a tax person, I got one. When I needed some legal advice, which was actually never, I would find an attorney.

After you start buying some property, talk to an independent insurance agent and get some insurance. I have changed insurance companies a couple times over the years.

Or you could sit around thinking that you need some magical team to help you get started in the RE business, and probably never do anything.

The only team member I ever had was a real estate agent. I saw his name on a for sale sign on a house. I called him and he got me a good deal. Then another, then another......

It is actually pretty simple. Know houses, know the area you want to buy in. Find some deals.
