Hi BiggerPockets! I came across this information from the National Association of Realtors that I thought you all would find interesting if nothing else. It's a fairly concise report with lots of data. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hey Laura, Thank you for sharing great data!  Marcus & Millichap just did their annual webcasts for Multifamily, as well as other asset classes, which had some great data as well.  I think Charlotte has done a great job of attracting financial jobs and becoming a known banking city.  A lot of folks are also leaving cold climates moving to warmer areas as well, if you notice a lot of the cities pointed out in your report are in the sunbelt region.  So if you buy a property in one of these top ten cities you'll be better positioned.  But the FED holding interest rates so artificially low and more QE is still distorting the financial markets, including residential real estate.  And did anyone notice Blackstone just exited it's position in residential real estate?  All great clues from the big players as far as where they see the market is today and the bets they're placing.
