Hi,

I'm form the UK and have properties in the US states of Michigan and Ohio. Due to the poor sterling dollar exchange rate - I have been looking for seller finance deals in the US as my cashflow is pretty healthy. I have been offered an opportunity in Niagara Falls, New York and wanted to try and get some advice re areas and rental demands from somebody on the ground there. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Mark,

I am an attorney who practices real estate and immigration as well as owning a property management company. I live and work in Buffalo, NY - about 20 minutes south of Niagara Falls. A lot of people in the area are very quick to criticize Niagara Falls because the general sentiment is that the area is bad, tenants are bad, and there is not a lot of appreciation. But as most investments, if you buy right and have the right expectations, you can find a deal. There has been some improvements to the city and there is some spillover from Buffalo where we are seeing massive gains and a very competitive rental market. If you want any more specific advice, just send a pm.
