Roofing Contractor Recommendations Buffalo, NY

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a property in downtown buffalo and got some quotes on replacing the roof. The roof is 25 square, with a single pitch down the middle so nothing crazy. I just got a quote for a complete tear off of 2 layers and new 30 year shingles. The quote was 17,500 which seems quite high. Anyone have any suggestions for roofing contractors in Buffalo? How much do you usually pay per square?
