New poster interested in New Haven & Union City

Hey everyone-long time reader of BiggerPockets.com, though this is my first post. I've been inspired by the stories and experience of the BP community and am appreciative of the great community being fostered through this site.

My partners and I are thinking about purchasing homes in New Haven. We've been working with a broker and have seen some interesting prospects, and were originally drawn to Yale by the idea of buying a house that would be marketable to Yale undergrads or graduate students. We're reaching out to the Bigger Pockets community to meet people with experience in the New Haven market. It would be great connect with people who have experience buying and holding in the New Haven market, and get their thoughts about where people go to source transactions.

We're also looking in Union CIty, NJ, Jersery City, and related cities west of NYC. If you are active in these markets, let's connect!

Best,

Max
