Holiday City Flipping

Joseph Svehla
Posted

Hello! I’m new to bigger pockets but I came across this site while researching about flipping houses in the Holiday City area.

My Grandparents live in Silver Ridge, a 55+ community in Toms River near Holiday City and I’ve been interested in flipping houses in the area for years and was wondering if there were any tips anyone would be willing to give?

I’m currently a general contractor, as is my Uncle and my Father is a union carpenter and certified construction superintendent. We can handle the work on our own without hiring too many people but the technical side of it all is what has us lost. We’re not sure if we could invest in the area because we’re not 55+ and we’re also not sure how to go about the funding aspect of it.

I work in the area every week, I’ve worked on these houses and know most of the models like the back of my hand so flipping these would be a dream so any tips would be extremely appreciated!
