Experience with section 8???
Hello all..I am pursuing a multifamily property and just found out one Tenant has a section 8 voucher only because he told me. All the leases are month to month. I am new to section 8 so would like to hear some input. Can I raise the rents? The town has no rent control. Does section 8 require that you use a certain lease or contract? Does seller need to disclose tenants have assistance?
Thankyou

@Sean Fisher section 8 can be a great resource but you need to understand the programI would start by going onto the Section 8 website (HUD) they have an overview of the program for users and landlords. Also give the section 8 bible a read, these two info sources are a great way to start
