Plumbing Code Violation Passaic
There is a full bathroom in the basement of a really old single family home we just purchased. The city plumbing inspector noted it as a code violation and is requiring the removal of the shower and essentially ripping up the entire floor. A local experienced architect recommended hiring an attorney to fight the code violation. Apparently people have been able to prove that it was already there and grandfathered in or can show the age of the pipes. Anyone have experience with this or have any recommendations?
Thank you.
