Safe areas in NJ with low crime rate and good school district

I am a newbie. Could someone tell me good website where I can find the crime rates and type of school districts for NJ. I am planning to buy multi-family units and want to do my homework before I invest.  I am looking for websites that would give me accurate information.

You can go to City-Data.com. It has demographics, crime stats, economic data, etc

For school rankings, start with NJ Monthly's Top High Schools. It comes out every 2 years. The 2016 edition should be out in August I believe. Here is the link from 2014:
