Looking to connect with local REI group in MN!

Any REI currently in MN go to any networking meetings that I could come check out? I live in Minnetonka and would love to connect with people, I have tons of questions especially concerning the direction I should go starting things off with investing in property. I have a couple clients that are realtors and expressed interest in helping me find a property but is do I need to shop around or work with the people I trust, does it matter what realty company it is? Or should I look into getting my real estate license? So many questions I know, that's why I want to join a group and also will continue to learn on these forums and the resources on biggerpockets.

Any advice is welcome!
