Good Owner-Occupy regions close to Romulus-MI (Detroit)

Hello Everyone,

I'm Moving to Romulus-MI (Detroit) to run a Construction Project in April/May 2021. and looking for good regions to owner-occupy a Multifamily Property. Does necessarily need to be in Romulus, but a decent driving distance to Wayne Airport.

Looking not only for good return, but also a enjoyable place to leave with wife and kids. I'll move away after the project is completed at the end of 2022. Any suggestions?
