Abandoned Property contents don't know whose it is Massachusetts

I have a property where there was personal content left behind,  some items I know  belong to a relative but some may not.  Some like clothing definitely belong to someone else.  I know that some is abandoned for 3+ months by someone I know by first name only (there were out of  country) and some belongs to someone incarcerated. How would you handle it?  Some things of value could belong to my relative or to these other people. I can throw it in storage but I don't know who to allow to claim it.  Its not likely in the near future this relative will be able to tell me and neither of these other guys can be expected to be honest. One in fact I know would claim anything of value.  The room was not set up like anyone was living in it so the stuff could belong to anyone. I am guessing neither was a tenant for the past 3 months but before that maybe, although there was no rent paid or lease. I am consulting a lawyer but this is on the bottom of the take care of it list in this chaos so I thought I would throw it out there.  This isn't my usual tenant class or state of operation.

Oh and save me your soapboxes. I know.
