Seeking Local, Experienced Investor

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on BP, so I'll introduce myself:

My name is Nate. I'm a senior accounting and finance student from Massachusetts who's interested in pursuing a career in real estate investing. I intend to focus mainly on mutifamily properties in hopes of eventually reaching the illusive passive income that we're all striving for.

I've searched Indeed, Google, and other help wanted-type sites trying to find local real estate investors to contact in hopes that I may be able to offer my time and energy to them in exchange for industry experience or even just the opportunity to network over coffee, but I've had no luck. I've also contacted local agents hoping to be put in touch with investors that they may work with, but I've struck out thus far.

Am I missing a key point of contact somewhere? Is there something else that I can be doing to drum up some sort of responses from those in a position that I someday hope to be in?
