Worried About New Tenants During Covid19

I've had a lot of the landlords I work with panic over the massive job losses here in Maryland. A lot of them are afraid to get new tenants since we know we can't evict them, but some just can't afford have multiple vacant homes with no revenue. As their property manager I've suggested that they eliminate some of their biases against section 8 tenants. It's consistent payment and I believe if you treat people with respect most of the time they'll reciprocate. Funny enough right after I had this conversation I got an email from Bigger Pockets advising more landlords and property managers to do the same. What do you think? For those who may have been against section 8 tenants does the thought that you know the rent will be paid influence your decision on how to market your properties?

I posted my newer properties on GoSection8 last week and I have a lot of inquiries. It took some time to get my clients to get on board, but I'm feeling good about our vacancy rate now.
