Condo Investing In the DMV

does anyone invest in condos in the DMV area? More so specifically MD. Do you flip then or just purchase for long term buy and hold? And how are the HOA fees associated with it and any special assessment bylaws? Reason I ask is because I am interested in purchasing a condo for buy and hold!

@Tabesteph Moliki I own condos in DC for my buy and hold portfolio. I always stick with smaller buildings of 80 Units less so the HOA dues are low. I also stick to Northwest DC for all but one property that's Northeast, I do not buy anything in Southeast even though the properties are cheaper and the returns are higher, I don't like the risk of Southeast. The bylaws are not an issue for me since I prefer stricter rules to maintain the property values.
