Roll Call For Investors in Maryland Or Investing In Maryland

Ok I must admit this is not my idea but I have seen this done by a couple other people and it got such a great response I decided to do it myself for Maryland. This should be good and help start up some great networking and potential relationship building. So after you past and fill out the template for yourself please tag others to bring them in. Lets make 2016 great all over Maryland.

Copy and paste the questions below as a template to use in your introduction and feel free to add you own twist on it:

Name: Lenzy Ruffin

Types of investments or business: Wholesale

Types of Properties: SFR, 3/2

Target areas, counties or cities: PG county, inside the beltway

Do you invest in or out of state (or both): MD

What are you looking for: Contractor who can train me on doing repair estimates. Agent willing to make two offers per month on investor-grade MLS properties. Anybody who has strengths complementary to my weaknesses and vice versa who is looking to work together for mutual benefit. And for my Powerball pick, a local mentor who really, really knows this business and is looking to help someone who will value their time and experience and won't waste the opportunity to learn from them…for FREE (still sitting here shirtless, pantless, and shoeless from the guru fleecing. I'm not paying anybody ever again for mentorship).

Why should others contact you: In the 5th month of a targeted, sustained direct mail campaign that will regularly generate deals, at some point. I am committed to succeeding. I have pushed through and continue to push through quite a bit of failure and I’m not going to quit. I’m honest and I do what I say I’m going to do. I’m a former Army officer, so I neither make nor entertain excuses. I am a professional.

I am a skilled, hobbyist photographer. I can tell any kind of story I want through photos. If I need to make a house look good, I can make it look as good as its condition will allow. If I need to accentuate the negative to bolster a short sale case or an REO offer, I can do that just as easily. My profile picture is a self-portrait. I'm looking for deals and knowledge, not photography jobs, but if my hobby can be the value-add I bring to the table in order to get me connected with some local people who know what they are doing and are interested in helping a very serious new person get established, then I'm happy to offer that skill within a reasonable proximity to DC.

I just want to work with honest, knowledgeable people so I can get myself established in this business and reach back and bring some people with me without them having to run the gauntlet of rip-offs, setbacks, and mistakes that I’ve endured.

Thanks for taking the lead on this, @Gary Alford.
