In need of local CPA with Real Estate experience

My two brothers and I are just starting out in this industry. We just bought our first property which is a 4-unit in Baton Rouge. Before things really get going, we would like to sit down with a CPA for a little direction and guidance on Accounting.

Tips/advice? Software: Quickbooks/Xero? Etc.

Does any one have any recommendations in the Baton Rouge, New Orleans areas?

Thanks in advance.

Justin Tortorich Best of luck with your new venture! I understand if you want somebody local, but expanding your search nationwide will definitely increase the talent pool and you'll find more real estate specialists. Not much is actually done face to face anymore.

There are plenty of us on BP that specialize in real estate investing and I've found that all are very knowledgeable. Hope this helps.
