Experience with heat pump water heaters pros and cons
My contractor is suggesting a heat pump water heater for a property where we have a basement that is damp and we run a dehumidifier or an AC all summer. This is instead of a regular tank heater and an on demand heater for the tub. Does anyone have experience with these units? good/ bad pitfalls? Have you been able to do away with the dehumidifier or AC?
