Best college degree for real estate investing/realtors

Hello everyone,

I’m a senior in high school this year and I’m currently taking classes to get my real estate license so I can begin selling properties this summer. My plan is to sell throughout college, and invest into rental property with the money I make as commission, then depending on how successful I am at it, and the size of my customer base, I may open my own brokerage as well sometime after I graduate. I wanted to get some input on what everyone’s opinion is on what I should major in and what university I should attend. My two options are University of Kentucky, where I would double major in Finance and Marketing (I would also be able to room with my best friend) or Western Kentucky University where I would either major in finance or marketing, minor in entrepreneurship, and get a real estate certificate (which would give me the requirements to become a broker, I would just have to pass the exam) (i would also have to room with someone random I don’t know). I want to take the program at WKU, but I would rather be at UK, so I am having trouble deciding on where I want to go, and which one would be more beneficial. Thanks for the help!
