After how many books\Knowledge I should dive into real investing?

Hi ,

I started reading my first book regarding real estate. Given the current circumstances I believe it will take me a lot longer to finish a books before I can actually start investing or diving into real estate! Like all of you I too want to attain financial freedom eventually.

I want to ask you guys that what books you think are best out there to give me a good comprehensive knowledge of this buisness. I know it can be subjective but as a whole what’s best out there.

After how many (books or knowledge ) should I be ready to invest.

At the moment I have 20k to risk\invest but obviously I can’t simply dive in without reading something ! Also I read about house hacking and how most of you got into real estate but I believe that’s not an option for me. I am def inclined towards investing into complex units (renting them out) NOT A HOUSE as a starting point .

Sorry if my approach seems foolish or completely wrong but like I said I AM A NEWBIE in this Buisness and that’s why I have this forum😀.

What would you guys recommend me investing my 20k in to start off? Also I reside in CALIFORNIA and obv it’s really expensive here so any recommendations (instate outstate) will be appreciated.

Basically just any feedback will be very valuable because I have bunch of questions.

Thanks in advance

Mo
