I'll Never Understand The Stock Market

As of April 2nd, I read that some 10m Americans filed for unemployment and yet the Dow Jones gained today. 

Why?

The market can be described as both an all know Einstein and a sociopathic dumb@ss. It toggles between the two, jockeying up and down. At times reasonable, logical and highly intelligent only later childish caught in hysteria then quickly dissipating into tantrums. It's the enigma of the free markets that trades on reason or emotions, the real bull and bear.
