Is it worth Sub-metering my duplex in Baltimore city?
I’m curious to hear opinions on whether it makes sense and how much it costs to submeter a duplex.
I have a water bill that seems really high every month (about 250-300) that really eats into cashflow. We are investigating whether there is a larger issue like a leak, but assuming there isn’t.
I Realize I’d need to wait til tenants turnover to work utilities responsibility into the lease.
Anyone know how much this costs? Are there other considerations like maintenance of submeters?
