Take a look at what is in the forum about minisplits.

Are you looking to see if it adds value to the house?   What is your setup, where is it?  Yes,  In certain parts of the country adding minisplits as opposed to just heat will add some value.  However it isn't a straight equation. It really depends on where you are located. In the  southwest they  expect central air but a minisplit will be better then no AC.  Up north it will do less for you but CT , RI you it will make the house more saleable.  You go MA and north and AC is not a standard except in high end houses.
