I’m just wanting to live better, so give me any and every possible advice you’d give a young person!

Get rid of the unnecessary. Don't believe the media, do your research. Balance your life, it ain't all about being rich. Give back. Place your wife before your investing. Raise your kids the right way once, then you don't have to raise them twice. There is an after life, prepare for it. Be consistent. Believe that the market will go down, it does. Believe the market will go back up, it will. Plan for the long term. Save, save, save. Use cash in your daily transactions, it keeps you from overspending. Keep in mind that anything you say or do on-line will still be there years from now and you may not want that all seeing eye that never forgets to come back at you later in life.
