Question on Stocks

Hello all, does anyone know where I could find a service where someone could help me find stocks and go through all of the options without paying a broker fee? I'm looking to invest on my own but need some assistance doing so. Not looking to work with a broker as they want me to invest through their brokerage and I would rather invest through a platform that I found on my own. Is there a place for this type of service?

Thanks

@Greg P., the guys here give excellent advice especially on sites to research stoke.

But here's my advice. Don't trade stocks...

Now, in full disclosure I do trade stocks but lets just say I am painfully experienced at trading! The fact is you are a minnow, a retail investor. And the "market" is literally rigged against you.

It is tempting but unless your trading super solid blue chips and or solid dividend buys (not all dividend plays are good) then you are probably not going to sleep well at night.

Sorry to be so down but just thought I'd save you money.
