Food Carts

In my area food carts have become a big deal. People are enjoying great food at a very resonable price and these little businesses are sprouting up all over.

Just for fun we started talking with the owner of one and found out she would sell. Will call later to find out details from husband.

When we were driving home we saw a for sale sign on another cart and called. It is fully contained and is a class 4 which means you can cook and sell anything including meat and chicken. They want 18k for the cart. The space rent is $575 which includes water and electricity. They had a nicer one built for themselves for 40k.

We have always talked about how it would be a kick to get involved in something like this.

Could do something like this since I just retired and have some extra time. Don't want to work too hard though. Anybody have any experience on something like this?

Sounds like you want to buy yourself a job...it will probably be more work than you want. There's a lot involved in getting ready for a shift of preparing and selling food.
