3% Live-in Requirement
As a first time home buyer, you qualify for 3% down. BUT you must occupy the property for 12 months. Is there any way around this? I am looking to buy a property, but would prefer to sleep somewhere else. I will spend sufficient time at the address though, as well as having mail sent to this address. Ideally, I would rent the property sooner than 12 months.
