Zombie mortgage haunting

Without getting to far into the weeds...

I had to file bankruptcy (chap 13) in 2015, in which I surrendered a mortgage.

Fast fwd. to today. I am 7 months out from discharge and preparing to re-establish bmyself and make up for lost time through teal estate investment.

The problem is that I still "technically" own this mortgage, and the bank has yet to forclose on it. Which will ultimately limit some of my bank financing options. Maybe even more.

Does anyone have any experience or advise? Maybe even some case law that can assist me in removing, or possibly quiting the foreclosure?

The home is in GA for reference!

Thank you in advance!
