Florida Hurricane windows & door upgrades
We have a home in Dunedin FL that could use updated hurricane windows & doors within cement wall framing. Some of my neighbors paid $15-$20,000.
Has anyone in that area done the upgrade themselves. I appreciate the need for a permit etc & can get Pella windows at Lowes etc so can't imagine it being too difficult. I have replaced a LOT of windows over the years but not 'hurricane secured' to the building framing as these may require.
thanks
