There are so many threads I read where the OP asks a question or presents a scenario and gets lots of great feedback but there is never a follow up from the OP as to how the situation worked out.
I think it would be so much more useful to people reading the threads after the fact if there were such follow-ups.
It would give a much more clearer picture of the quality of the advice given and provide new data and experience for all of us.

I'd like to ask Joshua Dorkin to encourage new posters to follow up their original posts through to the "conclusion of the story". I know many ask a question and fall off the board but often they are still around.
The reason these posts are public is so that everyone can learn from them, not just the op.
