Phoenix members- Advice requested about various areas

Hi guys and gals in Phoenix. I have a recently divorced daughter and 3 grand kids relocating to Phoenix. She'll be attending a school for court reporting. Gateway Community College on Van Buren near Hwy 10 and 202. Are there ANY areas you'd reccommend close by that aren't ghetto type properties. The closer the better. I'd like a decent safe area. One kid will be at ASU and schools are important for the other two. Thanks. Rich
