Feeling very discouraged

Hi all, I know it has been about a month since I have been on. Had some medical issues (all fixed).

I am still sitting on 4 properties and getting very discouraged. I made the classic beginner mistakes and am hoping they don't end up costing me my chosen career path goals. I am stuck at a stand still.

I still have all 3 properties in Kalamazoo and cannot figure why they are not moving. I also still have the one in Cleveland and unfortunately know exactly why that one is not moving... location location location.

Guess I am just looking for advise on how to get out of this with some of my money back so I can still try to move forward. Probably looking for some motivational speaking too if I am being honest lol... Thanks all

Sherry - sorry for your troubles. As many of us who have been in this for a while I can tell you that there are some days when you think you are buried. And the very next day things change and you're on top of the world. It's just the nature of business.

Now to your problem - I want to eliminate the obvious. Have you actually seen the listings from your Listing agent?

Being both a Realtor and an Investor I often shake my head when I look at some of the listings out there by so called knowledgeable professionals.

Some have the wrong bedroom count (1-2 less than actual), ignore the existence of a driveway and/or garage, no photos (which turn buyers and their agents off from a listing) and other lazy mistakes. Some properties aren't listed at all!

So I would start there. Have your agent send you the listings so that you can make sure there's nothing in there that is turning off your buyers.

Also, contact your LA's, broker and complain. Insist on being assigned a more aggressive realtor in their office or be released all together from the listing.

Good luck.
