Where can I get an Internship? Irvine? West Covina?

Hello, I currently go to school at University of California, Irvine but also live in West Covina, San Gabriel Valley. I am in the learning stages of Real Estate but what better way to learn than by having an internship?

I want to be hands on and not doing office work. I want to start off with SFR's and eventually 2-4 unit buildings, then use equity loan to purchase commercial. What internships are available (preferably summer) for a guy like me who is studying Civil Engineering but wants to Invest in RE. Any companies you recommend I apply to in the near by area? Companies who hire acquisitions are good becauseI heard they do a little bit of everything.

Thank you. I appreciate it.
