Colleague / inbox request from fake accounts....

I have been inboxed and pinged repeatedly lately by obviously fake accounts - they always have images of men, are new in the last week and then they delete the account in 24 hours., 

I always check out anyone who contacts me before responding, and hope others do too. 

Should I be reporting these fake accounts to BP?  if so how would I do this?  what info are these folks after?
