BP app-problems with letters deleting as I type

Okay I love BiggerPockets, but does anyone else have trouble with the app?  When I  type  a message , it will delete  my letters as I'm typing, it's the weirdest thing . I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling and it keeps doing it.  It's very frustrating as I can't message people through the app easily.  Anyone experienced this  or know how to fix it?  I know I saw one other person mentioned it happened to them too but I never saw how they fixed it .
