Just a short note. If you liked Alaska, you'll love this area. We've had fantastic weather and gotten into places that cruise line hasn't been to in last 5 years. Very lucky. This place is the coldest, loneliest and windiest place on Earth, according to the Naturalists on board. 99% on continent is covered by ice, and the U.S. would easily fit inside with tons of area remaining.
It also accounts for 90% of ALL the worlds' ice and 70% of ALL the freesh water on Earth. If the ice sheet melted, Fl would be gone, but so would most of NY and CA, so it would be ok, tic. Hope all is well on BP. We head for the stormiest waters on earth today, Cape Horn area. There are some fascinating stories and movies on the explorers that came to this area hundreds of years ago. Great fun. Rich
