To Crossfit or Not??

I Try different workouts, curiosity takes me there. I am about to finish my 3 month trial at Crossfit 9 downtown St pete,fl. It was good fun ,brutal workouts and a dog friendly place! I enjoyed the workouts but not a big fan of doing complicated lifts in timed race like format.Not a huge fan of the kipping pullups either, feels like cheating.Anyone here who has bee crossfitting for more than a year?Maybe 2?any thoughts?
