License requirements for painting services

Hey to everyone!

I am a flipper from SW Florida (Cape Coral) currently i have my flip for sale and a little free time on my hands since i fund my projects cash with no lending.

Working with the same people I was thinking about throwing a few google ads out and offering painting services and potentially some others.

I can't seem to find a definite answer about my question. Do I need to have a license if I offer painting services online? I would basically sub contract all the work. On the myfloridalicense website it says that painting services do NOT require a state license, however anyone contracting any kind of handymen services is required to have a license.

Does that mean as long as I do not type up a contract about the service I can do the work and get paid?

Maybe someone can help

Thanks so much

Nick
