Best engineering career path to help with REI
Hi,
I'm new to real estate investing from Minneapolis, MN. I'm very excited because I'm currently pre-approved and searching for my first duplex to house hack!
I currently work as a civil engineer for geotechnical engineering company here. I have been working for two years and recently discovered real estate and instantly fell in love with it. My goal is to one day be able work full-time as a real estate investor (because I believe I will enjoy it and not see it as just another job as I currently see my job) and become financially free.
My question is what discipline of civil engineering would be best to focus on to help me out in real estate investing?
Everyone's advice is much appreciated!
Thanks!
Josh
