CFR Sec 8 portability question
If a tenant transferring to another H.A. has not found an apartment by the date his first apt. must be vacated and becomes a hold-over tenant with an extension to look for an apartment in the new jurisdiction, can the first H.A. terminate the tenant and refuse to pay the additional month H.A. share - forcing the tenant into homelessness for a month? In this case, the second H.A. will not be assimilating the tenant; the previous H.A. will be billed. THIS QUESTION IS URGENT. PLEASE GIVE ME CFR CITATION.
