Big fire...dumb reason.....

I was going to put this in the insurance forum but it goes a bit off topic. I do insurance claims adjusting part time in addition to land lording. I had a little insurance claim today that I am the adjuster for the roofing contractor's insurance on:

I can't comment on why the fire started (for obvious reasons) but all I can say is that if you're doing any work on your properties MAKE SURE you have all the right insurance coverage. When a property is under construction, you are exposed to different risks that you have to be insured for.

Second - you wouldn't believe what started this fire...... I can't say definitively who and what started it and certainly not publicly what it is but someone got today's award for being the biggest effing idiot alive. There are some freaking morons out there that you have to protect yourself from.
