Obama witholding data on Cash for Clunkers while pressing Congress for more money

Isn't this surprising out of a Chicago politician? The administration refuses to release data on the "success" of the program, but is telling congress it needs more funding.

I don't know about you but when I go to a bank for funding and refuse to give them data on my past performance - it works like a charm.

In a way....why not? If congress isn't going to even read legislation before spending money then why should they give a rip about whether or not the legislation is working before spending more money on it?

I'm getting the feeling that some people in the media are getting a guilty conscience.

I'm with you on this one, Tim.

Show us the effectiveness of a program before asking that we give more money to fund that program.

This isn't an Obama or Bush or Democrat or Republican issue, it is an issue of adequately representing the American people and their money.

. . . nuff said!
