Interested in Real Estate and Looking to Move - Suggestions?

Hello everyone,

I'm very interested in Investing in Real Estate, however I am looking to relocate fairly soon. I graduated from college in Dec. 2014 and I have been working full time since then. Unfortunately, I'm still leaving at my parents house because the Long Island area is quite a bit out of reach for my comfort level.

Recently, I have decided that I wish to move out of state, to somewhere more affordable. At the top of the list at the moment is PA, currently looking around the Harrisburg area. My question is does anyone know whethere this area still offers employment opportunities and a good quality of life while still maintaining some good investment opportunities. And if not, where else would you all suggest? I'm fairly open to new places, however I am unsure where to begin my search.

I do hope that this is posted in the correct forum, and if not please feel free to either rave this post moved or direct me where to post.

Thanks ahead of time!
