What time do you wake up/start your day?

Ivan Jouikov

I just noticed that some people answering to my post are doing it at 4 AM and whatnot... wow!

I used to wake up at 10 am, now I wake up at 5 am (pacific). I usually follow this by my early "inspirational readings" (greatest salesman scrolls, at the moment), then by a bath and some educational reading (millionaire next door, at the moment).

After that, brew some green tea and go to my office to get started with my day (some time 6 am).

Can you handle that?

What time I wake up and start my day depends on whether I'm on my yacht, jetting to Paris for brunch, or snaking out a filth-clogged toilet....

I start my day at the crack of noon.

Actually you are looking at eastern time, so for those of us on the west coast the crack of noon in the east is 9am.

I'm usually by 7am but lately the wifey has been getting the kids and taking them places early so I've been able to sleep in until 9 or 10 in the morning, but usually I'm up when the kids wake up

Pretty much whenever I want to. The only exception is when I set early appointments.

Are you sure those 4am postings are from people waking up or are they from people who have yet to go to sleep :)

Seems like you should start a companion thread about what time you go to bed :)

I don't know how it happened but I got up at 4:22 a.m. this morning ready to attack the day. Then I looked at my house and realized both doors were open and lights were on and realized I must have fallen asleep in the middle of spring cleaning (I clean the rental properties first - mine is always last...lol)

I never believe in following hard and fast rules that make the personal comfort and relaxations a rare thing. I change my living schedule according to the next day program and appointments.

I am usually up by 8:00am and start working around 10:00am est. I also keep my phone on until about Midnight est, and can work as late as 3:00am on the computer.

Since I love what I do, it does not really seem like I work all that much.

It all comes down to passion!

Not really. I have been on the brink of bankruptcy more than once since I started working for myself. Since I have passion, a strong work ethic, and believe in my business models, I do not let the challenges get in the way.

The #1 problem people have is that they focus on the money. If you change that and focus on your passion, work hard, and care about people.... the money will take care of itself!

Nothing in life that will make a person substitutable income is easy, regardless of what the seminars and books say....
