Very Serious Question

We all know that the wacko environmentalists want to stop global warming, aka 'climate change' now that the temperature has inconveniently stopped going up. Anyway, even if we pretended that we believed that global warming existed and that mankind had the power to stop it, here's a question that I can't find the answer to. If you've got the answer please post it!

Here's the question: WHAT TEMPERATURE ARE THE ENVIRONMENTAL WACKOS SHOOTING FOR? Was the temperature "correct" in the early 1800's, before all this industrialization? Of course, that was during the last mini-ice age? Personally, that's too cold for me. Was the temperature correct 100 years ago, when the temperature was .75 degrees cooler? I don't know about you, but personally I didn't really notice the .75 degree difference. Who gets to decide what temperature we're going to set the earth's temperature at? Do we get to vote on it? If so, I'd vote for a little warmer in the winter and a little cooler in the summer - at least 10 degrees warmer during the winter in Ohio and a little cooler in July and August.

Sorry, I started rambling. My real question is "what temperature are the environmental wackos shooting for? Does anyone have the answer?
